Solo rowing the Atlantic. World record attempt.
In June 2024 Tom Waddington set out to try and complete an extraordinary solo row of 2300 miles across the Atlantic from Quidi Vidi, Canada to Penzance, UK. It was sponsored by Tritax Big Box with the aim of raising £50k for MIND. Only 8 people have ever succeeded in completing the row before. Tom’s inspiration to take up the challenge was defined by the tragic loss of his partner. I was briefed to design the logo and the event assets along with boats vinyl wrap and all of the event touch points.
